The Music
Reformation

The things we don't talk about in music.

The music industry isn't just broken. It's optimized — for the wrong things. This book is about what music is actually for, what it does to the body and the room, and how working musicians take the craft back.

That's what one stream pays. 250 streams to earn a single dollar — before the label, the distributor, and everyone above you takes their cut. This book starts with the number nobody wants to say out loud, and ends with what to do about it.

Why this book

Not a new streaming deal. A different answer to what music is for.

Sound moves the body before the mind decides anything. The people who understand that best are building stadium tours and production teams — and almost nobody is asking what it's all pointed at. The Music Reformation asks. Out loud.

The working musician

Who's run the streaming math and felt it not add up — and wants another way to build a life in music.

The worship leader

Who feels the tension between craft, commerce, and calling — and wonders where preparation ends and engineering begins.

The producer & director

Handed a title and a team, building the room others create in — and figuring out what the job actually is.

The young artist

Talented, broke, and deciding whether this is worth it. It is — but not the way the system says.

Epilogue: The Reformation

A call to artists, leaders, and anyone who still believes music matters. Plus discussion questions for teams and classes.

"The reformation isn't a movement with a logo and a conference. It's a posture."
